How to Use the Online Metronome
Set your desired BPM using the slider or +/− buttons (range: 40–208 BPM). Select a time signature preset (4/4, 3/4, or 6/8) — beat 1 is emphasized with a louder click and brighter visual flash. Use the Tap Tempo button to detect your natural tempo by tapping in rhythm. Adjust volume with the slider. The visual beat indicator pulses with every click so you can follow the rhythm silently in a quiet room.
- Musicians & Students: Practice scales, chord progressions, and sight-reading at a controlled tempo.
- Music Teachers: Project the visual metronome on a classroom screen so all students see the beat.
- Dancers & Choreographers: Find the exact tempo for routines by tapping along to music.
- Workout Pacing: Use BPM to match running cadence or exercise intervals to music.
