By accessing or using our website, interactive web applications, digital classroom timers, randomizers, decision games, or associated online utilities (collectively, the "Services"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Services immediately.

2. Description of Services & Zero-Account Model

ClassPanel provides free, web-based digital productivity and classroom instructional tools engineered for interactive displays, smartboards, tablets, and personal computing devices. Our tools operate under a Zero-Account Architecture:

• No Registration Required: Users are not required to create user accounts, submit passwords, or authenticate through social identity platforms to access any utility on ClassPanel.
• Client-Side Processing: All interactive operations—including countdown timing, random group partitioning, name selection, and acoustic audio synthesis—execute directly within your device's web browser using standard client-side APIs.
• Local Sandboxing: Any instructional data you enter (such as student names, timer duration presets, or volume configurations) remains sandboxed strictly inside your browser's private local storage (localStorage) and is never transmitted to our backend servers.

3. Acceptable Use in Classrooms, Schools & Organizations

Educators, academic institutions, students, homeschooling families, and commercial organizations are granted a non-exclusive, revocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use ClassPanel for instructional, personal, and professional facilitation purposes, subject to the following conditions:

• You may display ClassPanel tools on classroom smartboards, projection screens, auditoriums, video conference streams, and live broadcasts.
• You agree not to attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, mirror, or systematically scrape the underlying web assets for the purpose of reproducing an identical competing service.
• You agree not to launch automated denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, flood requests, or inject malicious payloads into form inputs or feedback channels.
• You agree not to bypass or interfere with any security features or delivery safeguards of the Services.

4. Student Privacy Commitment (COPPA & FERPA Compliance)

ClassPanel is designed to support educators while maintaining the highest ethical and legal standards regarding child safety:

Because we do not store, process, or transmit student names, rosters, or grades to remote databases, our service inherently complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). School districts and teachers may utilize our randomizers and timers without obtaining written parent waivers or signing complex third-party vendor data-sharing agreements.

5. Intellectual Property & Fair Use

All site layout, branding, logos, original editorial articles, UI illustrations, audio synthesis code, and software scripts on ClassPanel are the intellectual property of ClassPanel.online and are protected by applicable copyright and international intellectual property laws.

Teachers and content creators are encouraged to capture screenshots or video recordings of ClassPanel in active classroom instruction, teacher training webinars, educational YouTube guides, or lesson plan blogs, provided credit is attributed to ClassPanel.online.

6. Third-Party Advertising & Free Access Model

ClassPanel is made available free of charge to educators and students worldwide. To sustain server hosting, bandwidth, domain administration, and ongoing tool development without charging licensing fees, we display unobtrusive digital advertisements served by Google AdSense and authorized third-party ad networks.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that third-party advertising partners may use cookies to serve relevant advertisements in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We enforce strict ad category filters to prevent inappropriate, adult, or deceptive advertisements from appearing in classroom environments.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is" Service)

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

While our digital clocks and timers leverage browser high-resolution timestamps (performance.now()) for millisecond precision, ClassPanel is intended for educational, productivity, and casual decision purposes. It should not be used as a mission-critical timing mechanism in life-safety, aviation, or high-stakes industrial operations.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CLASSPANEL.ONLINE, ITS FOUNDERS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO TIMING ERRORS, INTERRUPTIONS IN INTERNET CONNECTIVITY, HARDWARE MALFUNCTION, OR LOSS OF LOCAL BROWSER STORAGE DATA.
